Note: We do not process or store any payment or credit card information on our platform.

2. How We Use Your Information & Legal Basis

We process your data based on the following legal grounds and for the following purposes:

• Performance of a Contract: To provide and operate the Service, facilitate user matching, enable chat functionality, and manage your account.
• Legitimate Interests: To send important system notifications, policy updates, and new message alerts. To analyze platform usage and improve user experience.
• Consent: To send newsletters and promotional materials regarding Branmado. You may opt out of marketing emails at any time via your Account Settings.

3. Analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to monitor site performance. This tool is designed with privacy in mind and does not use third-party cookies or track individual users for profiling purposes.

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal data. We only share your information under the following circumstances:

• User Matching: Due to the nature of the Service, your profile and product information will be visible to other registered users (Makers and Buyers). Please note that when you initiate a chat or send a message to another user, your registered email address will be shared with the recipient to facilitate direct business communication.
• Service Providers: We share minimal necessary data with trusted third-party providers (e.g., Supabase for secure database management, Resend for email delivery) who process data strictly on our behalf under confidentiality agreements.
• Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities.

5. International Data Transfers

Your information may be transferred to and maintained on servers located outside of your country. For users in the EU/EEA, data transfers to Japan are covered by the European Commission's adequacy decision.
